Jean-Marc is a collaborative problem-solver with a constant eye to the big picture. As an associate lawyer with Foreman & Company, Jean-Marc applies a strategic approach at all stages of a class action file.
Jean-Marc previously summered at Canada’s federal Competition Bureau and has a particular interest in pursuing consumer law violations, as well as price-fixing and other competition law claims. To that end, Jean-Marc acted for a national consumer organization in an intervention before the Supreme Court of Canada, in the landmark price-fixing class action appeal, Godfrey v. Sony.
Jean-Marc also acts on behalf of plaintiffs in a variety of matters including product liability, financial services, securities, and intellectual property disputes.
Jean-Marc earned his undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science at McMaster University, and his law degree at the University of Western Ontario. As an adjunct professor at the Western University Law School, Jean-Marc coached a team of four law students to a successful showing at the 2020 Winkler Class Action Moot.
Jean-Marc resides in London, Ontario with his young family and two rescue dogs. In his spare time, Jean-Marc enjoys home renovations, Stephen King novels, and the outdoors. He is an avid cyclist, having previously ridden his bicycle across the United States to raise funds for a local charity.
